Here I am again! Today I’d like to share with you my incredible little adventure with the weather. You’ve probably noticed that recently we’ve been living in true climate chaos.
On one side, there’s cold air sweeping down from the north, on the other side warm air pushing up from the south, and right in between lies a sharp boundary between these air masses. The result? In one place it’s snowing, while just a few kilometers away it’s raining. And guess where I live? Yes – right in the middle of this border!
You can imagine how happy I was a few days ago when I finally saw snow falling. I thought this winter would pass without a single flake of that white wonder. If only I were 30 years younger, I’d have put on my warm clothes, grabbed a sled, and gone out to play. That would have been amazing! Sadly, I’m too old for that now – but still, I was happy.
But my joy didn’t last long, because the weather went crazy again. Instead of snow, freezing rain started to fall, covering everything in a thick layer of ice. The meteorological services warned about extremely dangerous conditions and the risk of major disruptions to road traffic. I really didn’t feel like leaving the house – but of course, as an adult, I have to go to work. I can already imagine the “fun.”
To make matters worse, this afternoon I noticed something strange happening to my terrace. Can you guess? It turned out that the mass of frozen water falling from the sky was too heavy for the roof, and the terrace began to bend under the weight of the ice. I had no choice but to climb a ladder in the freezing storm and slowly clear the snow off the roof. Great fun, right? You know what the worst part is? It’s not over yet. The weather is still unstable, and no one knows what will fall tomorrow. Maybe snow, maybe rain. And if it doesn’t stop, I’ll be back on the roof in the morning before work, shoveling ice again. I simply can’t wait!
So, dear readers, if you’re craving a bit of adrenaline and adventure, feel free to come visit me. There’s always something going on here. And if not, well… better stay away. It’s not worth the risk!
