It’s getting cold!

The nice weather is coming to an end, and the garden work is almost finished. I’m still waiting for a few valves for the new watering system — they’re coming from China, so maybe they’ll arrive before spring, or maybe not. Which is fine, because at least I’ll have a good excuse to do nothing more.

If the temperature drops below zero, I’ll have to cover some of the plants. I’ve got special fibre bags for that, but I’ve never used them before. Hopefully it won’t turn into some kind of origami session.

In the meantime, I bought myself a big organizer for screws, dowels, nuts, and all sorts of other little bits. Today I hung it up and started tidying my toolroom. Chaos. So far, I’ve only managed to deal with the drawers where, for the past year, I’ve been stuffing anything I needed to hide. The organizer is already almost full. Luckily, only the big things are left — those too important to throw away.

Once I’m done, I’ll post some photos on Instagram. Unless the camera refuses because of the mess — in that case, you’ll just have to take my word for it!
