A box of memories!

A few days ago, my parents surprised me with an incredible gift – a large box full of old film negatives of family photos. The negatives are from the 80s and 90s, and maybe even from times before that. It’s amazing how a single object can throw you back in time four decades!

I can’t wait to start scanning them and see myself from 40 years ago! I can already imagine how these photos will bring back forgotten memories, moments full of joy, laughter, and maybe even a few tears. It’s like unearthing treasure hidden deep in the drawers of the past.

To begin this fascinating journey, I still need to get special film scanning attachments. I’ll probably do that after I get back from my vacation. Finding the right equipment might take a while, but I know it will be worth every minute. I want the quality of the scans to be the best it can be, so I can share these precious memories with all of you.

But for now, my entire focus is on the upcoming holiday. The family and I are heading off on vacation, and my mind is filled with dreams of sunny days, long walks, and the countless photos we’ll take. I’m counting on more sun than last year and on coming back with a ton of beautiful new memories.

After we return from the holidays, once I have everything ready for scanning, I’ll definitely share the most interesting pictures right here on the blog. These photographs aren’t just images; they’re pieces of history – my own, my family’s, full of adventures and emotions. I hope we can explore these fragments of the past together and enjoy them!

Isn’t it fascinating how technology allows us to dive back into the past? I simply can’t wait to open that box full of stories and begin my journey through time. It’s certain to be an unforgettable experience, full of discoveries and emotions. Get ready for a lot of new, old photos on the blog!

See you after the vacation, with plenty of new stories and pictures!
