Last Sunday, I was hit by a completely unexpected hailstorm. It ended just as suddenly as it began and lasted maybe five minutes. At first glance, it looked like it had caused massive damage. The zucchinis, cucumbers, and peppers suffered the most. Still, I’m hoping they’ll sprout new leaves and bounce back to life.
Luckily, none of the plants snapped, though my garden is now full of torn and holey leaves. There’s still hope for them — I just have to stay positive. All they need now is plenty of sunshine!
After such a stressful experience, I had to take my wife and kids somewhere we could relax and forget about our poor, battered plants. Somewhere we could sit in the sun, enjoy a coffee, and watch a bit of wild nature. Once again, we ended up in Klotten Wild- und Freizeitpark — a really lovely and fascinating place!
